We are just beginning to discover the other advanced peoples of the galaxy.
The Galactic Network was established to maintain peace between planets and to promote the exploration of solar systems.
The Galactic Network is made up of thousands of crews, large and small, carrying out various missions of exploration, intervention, diplomacy, and more.
Columba is one of these crews. It primarily undertakes dangerous exploration missions, going where no one else dares to venture.
Many peoples of the Milky Way have not yet reached the stage of space exploration technology, and out of respect for the natural evolution of conscious beings, the Galactic Network does not reveal itself to them.
Throughout the series, we follow the crew of Columba on their adventures…

Shortly after the First Contact between Earth and Zyra, a great scientific mystery arose. How is it that extraterrestrials living light-years away from Earth have an appearance extremely similar to Earth’s animals? The most widely accepted theory is that a civilization placed humans on Earth and the animal people on Zyra after genetic experiments. But this remains to be proven…
The Superhumans of Xyra
In 2912, a planet called Xyra hosts an academy where only the best in the galaxy can hope to be admitted. Separated from the rest of humanity by a ruthless selection process, the chosen ones are not out of tribulations yet. To earn the title of Psychic, they must endure many trials, and many fail to make it to the end of the training, which lasts several decades.
Psychics are highly sought-after specialists on the crews of the Galactic Network. These superhumans can achieve feats beyond the reach of ordinary mortals, such as telepathic communication, control of their own bioelectricity, slowing their aging, and much more. They are also the best doctors in the Milky Way, able to diagnose almost any ailment with a simple touch.
Living Computeurs
One of the most fascinating discoveries of civilizations is the Vonghis. Tiny, equipped with antennas, and possessing a community-oriented culture that overrides individuality, these small extraterrestrials quickly became invaluable assets on the crews of the Galactic Network and in all fields across the Milky Way. Indeed, their small size houses absolutely extraordinary cognitive abilities, overwhelmingly superior to even the most advanced computers.
Their capabilities are so great that they grant them mysterious faculties, such as telepathic communication, hypersensitivity to energies, and asexual reproduction.

Unlike most animal people of the Milky Way, Jake grew up on Earth. From an early age, he was driven by a consuming passion for space exploration. His entire life was planned to become a captain—from his studies in science to his military service, where he served as a pilot.
Today, he is living his dream of having his own ship and his own crew. Even though he and his new “family” flirt with danger on a daily basis, and despite his grumpy temperament, he is living exactly the life he has always wanted, and he wouldn’t trade his place for anyone in the world.

Originally from a region once known as Russia, Elena is a tall woman who doesn’t let anyone walk all over her. Bearing the weight of a dark past on her shoulders, she has made a name for herself with her fierce passion and expertise in combat sports.
The day she was offered the chance to put her brute strength and intelligence at the service of the Galactic Network, she had no choice but to accept this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Today, as lieutenant of the Columba, she has finally found her place in a tight-knit and strong family. She would give her life for any crew member without a second thought.

Home planet: Zyra
Calm and reserved by nature, with extensive knowledge of the dialects and peoples of the Milky Way—supported by a perfectionism and personal discipline that are second to none—Taume is a major asset to the crew of the Columba.
His role generally consists of providing information on the cultures encountered during exploration missions, as well as demonstrating the social skills necessary to ensure harmonious contact. However, with his large build typical of the wolf people of Zyra, he also frequently serves as bodyguard and security officer.

Race: Vonghi
Home planet: Vongh
Since the Vonghis don’t have personal names in their culture, he was renamed “Koby” by the crew, in reference to his small size and a computer’s kilobytes.
Like all Vonghis, Koby possesses exceptional cognitive abilities, making him an indispensable member of the crew. Very logical by nature, Vonghis often struggle with any decision born of emotions, feelings, or intuition. This frequently creates friction between Koby and Jake, who clash on this point—and both are quite grumpy. Despite it all, a brotherly bond firmly ties them together.
The entire crew gets to enjoy Koby’s impatient sarcasm. To the other crew members, it’s all part of his charm.

Affectionately called ‘Papy’ by the crew, this man is a mystery on many levels. Both wise and immature, intellectual yet speaking like a teenager, friendly and completely carefree… he is the black sheep of the Columba.
Despite his childish manners and questionable jokes, a titanic strength of character drives his words and actions—the very strength that allowed him to complete the rigorous training of the Psychics from start to finish, and today, to fear nothing.
Like all Psychics, Papy is an excellent doctor. He is also a safe haven for anyone needing a listening ear or a morale boost. Yes, in many ways, Papy is the heart and soul of the Columba.

Home planet: Kenrae
Violette comes from a planet where wisdom and self-development are the highest values. Destined to attain the most noble rank in her culture, she possesses the character of a queen and the wisdom of someone who has lived through everything.
The planet Kenrae produces great combat athletes, and Violette is no exception. An expert in staff fighting, she can face any threat.
Violette is also, in many ways, the most balanced and happiest person on the Columba. Her crystalline laughter is unmistakable, and it is often heard echoing through the ship. She is the crew’s ray of sunshine.
